Is Oneroot Honey Better? Different?
Oneroot is a family business specializing in producing pure honey. When we say pure, we mean no traces of contaminants including antibiotics and pesticides. We believe that healthy bees in clean environments produce the best honey. We make sure the bees are taken care of naturally without the use of chemicals.
Every year, we send all our honey to a third-party laboratory and test for antibiotics, insecticides, and herbicides. Beehives are placed away from major cities, industrial, and conventional farms. This insures that Oneroot honey is not contaminated with anything.
Our honey is from the North. Active seasons are shorter but the cold climate gifts us with cleaner environments less prone to diseases, which allows us to practice organic beekeeping methods without the use of antibiotics.
Our honey is always single-sourced. We do not mix or blend our honey with any other honey.
What are the most popular Oneroot products?We have three types of honey that are popular with our customers throughout the year. The first is our Organic Certified Raw Wildflower Honey. Its light flavour and raw texture make it our most popular gift idea. The second is the Buckwheat Honey. This honey is clinically proven to alleviate sore throat and coughing. It has the highest levels of antioxidants among all the honey varieties. The last is the Raw Boreal Forest Wildflower Honey. This raw honey is our best seller year-round. It comes in three sizes, and the price is hard to beat.
What’s Special about the Boreal Forest?We searched for the cleanest land for the bees. The Boreal Forest region we’re in offers us clean environment and abundance of wildflowers. The climate is cold, but the bees work hard during the short season to create beautiful clean honey that we all can enjoy.

THE HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM’S ENTRY INTO THE MIXOLOGY SCENE CAME FROM AN UNLIKELY SOURCE — AN INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S THEATRE TOUR THAT TOOK THEM ALL OVER THE U.S. AND ABROAD. THEY SPENT THREE YEARS TRAVELING THE WORLD, WORKING WITH YOUTH AS THEATRE EDUCATORS, ACTORS AND DIRECTORS. WHEN THEY WEREN’T PERFORMING, STAGING MUSICALS, TEACHING IMPROV, OR LEADING WORKSHOPS, THEY MADE IT A PERSONAL MISSION TO ENJOY THE WORLD’S BEST BARS AND COCKTAILS. THE PAIR WAS ALWAYS THIRSTY FOR A BIT OF THE LOCAL FLAVOR, FROM BOURBON IN KENTUCKY TO AQUAVIT IN DENMARK, THEY SAMPLED ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THEY COULD FIND. WHEN THEY RETURNED FROM THEIR EPIC JOURNEY, THEY WERE DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THAT IT WAS HARDER THAN EXPECTED TO MAKE THESE CRAFT LIBATIONS IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR HOME. THE QUALITY OF THE BAR PRODUCTS JUST HADN’T CAUGHT UP WITH THE CRAFT DISTILLED SPIRITS. MOST MIXERS AND BARS SYRUPS THEY PURCHASED WERE FULL OF ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS, PRESERVATIVES, AND EVEN HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. THE DRINKS THEY MADE AT HOME SIMPLY PALED IN COMPARISON TO THE INCREDIBLE COCKTAILS THAT HAD INSPIRED THESE BUDDING MIXOLOGISTS.
