Both are important. If customers don't think the reviewer is similar to them, or if they feel like the review is not authentic nor legitimate, they may disregard the opinions the reviewer gives. However, positive reviews that seem legitimate and honest can influence a customer to shop your store and buy your products. As with everything, trust is the key.
