This is the best brass catcher out there, unless something totally amazing has come out very recently. I like the way the scoop covers the ejection port and never deforms. I can hear every casing go rattling down into the bottom, so I can focus on my shooting, not where the brass is going. This is five stars on design, functionality and quality. I dinged it a star because it's not cheap. Be advised: It fits mil-spec receivers. Poly cast or printed receivers may be too thick, and if you have something unique, like a skull or Spartan helmet on the front of your receiver this will not fit.

I was told by my buddy who showed me his that it was $30. I couldn't find it anywhere except on the manufacturer's website, and it was ~$45 by the time I paid shipping. Prices go up, I get it. The only design issue I would mention is that some way of handling non-spec receivers should be considered. Perhaps an optional adjustable clamp or rail clip or something.

It works well on conventional ar’s. Wish it would work on side charging handle guns. Can not have everything i guess!

Used it hunting hogs at night, and it worked great. Also it’s a snap to get it on, and off. Only thing I didn’t like was the brass moving around in it makes too much noise. May try lining it with tape to see if that helps reduce the noise.

Must have if your a reloader. Would have given it 5 but occasionally it will cause a malfunction by knocking the spent casing back into the ejection port.

This brass catcher is much better than the net type catcher, especially not having to Velcro the catcher in place. The clip on of this catcher is easier and more stable than my previous unit.
