I joined Drumeo a few years ago and now, I feel like part of the "family." EVERY day, there is a new lesson about some aspect of drumming. Besides the regular library of lessons, there is also a great collection of "courses" on the site as well. The lessons & courses are taught by the best the drumming world has to offer: Bernard Purdie, Stanton Moore, David Garibaldi, Thomas Lang, Pat Petrillo, Daniel Glass, Billy Cobham, Jim Riley . . . the list goes on & on and is ever expanding. Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced, there is enough to keep you learning and enjoying the drums for years, if not for life. Beside the new lessons and great courses within Drumeo, there is also a Section for Song Breakdowns (learn to play them as the artist did), Play-Along songs for every genre (with-out drums - YOU be the star) and a Section called Student Focus (submit your own video for critique by instructors who help you improve rapidly. This only begins to scratch the surface of Drumeo. There's also a place to find other drummers from around the world, some of whom will become good friends in this brother(& sister)hood of drummers from everywhere. You'll meet youngsters (playing in their bedroom) & Oldsters (like me) who played in their younger days and beyond and want to get back into it, ladies whose kids are in school now and they always wanted to learn to play. Or, you can have no interaction with them at all - just hours, days, weeks of lessons on any subject you can think of regarding drums: how to hold sticks to advanced linear sticking and poly-rhythms. Drumeo is literally all things Drums - there is nothing like it out there, not even close. I recommend Drumeo to anyone with an interest in Drums & Drumming.

Use Drumeo to augment your current Lesson Plan or let Drumeo's vast staff of qualified instructors be your guide. Look no further, this is it. This is what you've been looking for. It really is an amazing learning experience that you can tailor to your own personal desire to learn the drums.

Although it is early in my subscription the content is outstanding. Being able to search for a topic and have several archived lessons to choose from is very valuable.

Please see previous review comments. the only things I have struggled with are the following: Attempting to assess my current level as a drummer(maybe a test or standards for skill level could help) Figuring out what resources to use and access to start Determining how much practice is necessary vs. overdoing it Where/how to send questions comments to Love the site! Great to be drumming after a 26 year layoff.

All the instructors that I have watched are very knowledgeable and excellent drummers and I can tell that they really want you to learn. I have recommended Drumeo to all my drummer friends. I love all the resources and all the drum notations written out, it makes it very easy to learn.

I didn't like this survey. DRUMEO..please dump this. It's too corporate and sterile. I don't look at DRUMEO as a service or product. These questions sound as if they want me to describe my shopping experience at Walmart.

As a learning drummer, find the tools, resources, lesson, library and play along a wealth of info and inspiration. Have started a student plan and found it to be a terrific guide as to what to work on next. Found this to be best suited for my schedule and the web based access makes it "ready" when I have a few minutes to play.

Great resource with lots of lessons. And not just short things like you find on YouTube. These are hour long lessons that go into great detail and have very helpful instruction. Every lessons comes with a PDF for you to practice from.

A must have. Best online drum instructions on the net. Covers all genre's in depth. This is much better than local instruction.

As long as the videos can be downloaded, Drumeo will always be an awesome deal because even those with poor internet will be able to use them to learn how to drum. Also, you can go back to the same lesson as many times as you want. This is impossible to do with a teacher you pay for each lesson. They do answer questions you have too. And, the student focus part, is where they will listen to you play and give feed back. They have a wide variety of content that works for those whose main focus is Jazz, Metal, Church or Latin. Cons - Well, you still have to have internet access long enough to be able to download the content. And, the one dvd set I really wanted to buy, they are out of and may not make it available again on DVD. I have been a member for too long now, but I love their service which is why I am still a member.

The Edge is all embracing and can accommodate drummers from the complete range of skill levels. The coverage of the different styles is comprehensive. I feel that the ability to contact personnel at Drumeo on a personal level offers unbeatable value when coupled with the opportunities for flexible learning which are updated on a daily basis.

Good instructors, good lessons and good value. Not a criticism but not ideal for beginners (although there are a lot of lessons at beginner level) as they may be overwhelmed by the amount they think they will need to know to become a drummer and dismayed by the amount they fail to master in the early stages.

Started as a complete beginner and learned to read drum music and play it to a reasonable level over a number of years. Products and instructors are very good at reasonable prices. Ideal for anyone who cannot find or afford private tuition.

I started playing the drums at 50 years old. It's something I've wanted to do my whole life. I found Drumeo Edge and couldn't be happier. The lessons are first class. Instructors are amazing and make it easy for a beginner like myself to follow along and learn. I'd recommend Drumeo to any new drummer or any drummer at all who might want to just refresh their skills.

Drumeo Edge is a well rounded program for percussion education. As a student, having the ability to go back and re-watch a lesson or even part of any given lesson is a very powerful tool, and as a Teacher it gives me the resources to keep new students inspired!
