This was a bit thinner than I expected. It does not really hold the mouth open, which some believe will help weaken the power of clenching/masseter muscle - a good thing. The surface of the guard -occlusal plane- where it meets the opposing teeth is molded around the teeth & has softened, rounded version of the cusps as opposed to being flat surface. A flat surface would have allowed for the jaw to move more freely, back and forth, not allowing the mouth to clench as easily. I may have ordered the wrong guard. I'll give what I was sent a go and see how it performs. It is as I said thin and quite comfortable to wear, but I'm not sure it's the best design to help with bruxism.

Everything was great, except I may have ordered the wrong/not the best guard for bruxism. Was this clearly explained. It probably was. I have not gone back to look at the site. I like my guard. It's super comfortable. I just hope it helps with my clenching/grinding.

This is the second night guard I have ordered from teethnightguard.com and the second excellent fit. I watched the video on how to do the impressions, just to brush up rusty skills from several years ago. The impressions were easy to do, the night guard came early, it fits perfectly, and the customer service is outstanding.
